Our guides will direct you through over 6000 acres of prime pheasant habitat. During your stay at Barrel Springs you will experience the best hunting Western Kansas has to offer. With properties in several locations you will hunt a different area each day most within five miles of the lodge.
Included in the habitat are lands in CRP, food plots, native weed rows and vast plains. All take part in making your hunt at Barrel Springs challenging and as traditional to Western Kansas as the Ring-neck Pheasant. This land is available for your hunting pleasure from September 1 through March 31 and only to clientele of Barrel Springs Hunt Club.
Our kennels house a wide variety of the finest hunting dogs in Western Kansas. You are welcome to hunt behind our dogs or bring your own.
In addition to the Controlled Shooting Area hunting (3000 acres) that we have always offered, we have added a native pheasant hunting option (3000 acres) to our hunting services.

We do not mix groups. You will hunt only with those in your party and your own Barrel Springs guide.
Your safety is our utmost concern. For your safety, large groups will be divided into smaller groups of approximately six hunters or less. A guide/dog handler will accompany each group.
The guides at Barrel Springs are well acquainted with your safety requirements, the hunting areas, and our dogs.
At Barrel Springs we are capable of handling all ages of hunters and all levels of experience.
